Philadelphia native Kim Coleman has always been creative, even as a child.
While attending the Julia Reynolds Masterman Laboratory and Demonstration School, considered one of the best college-preparatory public schools in the tri-county area, Kim served as a docent at The Philadelphia Museum of Art.
Upon graduation she attended Rhode Island School of Design and graduated with a BFA in Illustration and is currently working on her MFA dissertation.
Kim currently live in South Florida where she continues to paint, craft and work on various projects. Inspired by color, memory and life experiences her work is a mixture of portraits and figures. Kim’s primary medium is watercolor, but she never limits her process, medium or creativity.
